Lawinenschutz: Setzen von Betonfertigteilen in die Gefahrenzone

In 2019 a giant debris avalanche overwhelmed the only road leading from Andorra to Spain. Fortunately, nobody was injured. The local construction company is confronted with the challenging task to build an avalanche barrier in the middle of the still unstable terrain. In a first step they set prefabricated concrete wall elements. It’s a requirement that nobody should be present in this high-risk area. Releasing the load remotely is therefore a necessity. 2 radio-controlled LUDWIG HOOK 5T are used for this task. One of them is protected with our new Ludwig Protector to absorb shocks after release.
