Radio-controlled rigging system for timber construction and forestry
On a forest cableway, releasing the timber once it reaches the forest road is one of the slowest and most dangerous steps in the operation. The Ludwig Choker removes that last manual step — releasing it by remote control from the safety of the cab instead.
Since 2011 the reinforced Ludwig Choker 69 has extended the range for very heavy cable cranes or demanding downhill yarding — also suitable for ground-based skidding.

Since 2007 we have refined the design steadily to keep pace with the punishing conditions chokers have to endure in the field.
In 2011 we added the reinforced Ludwig Choker 69 for use with very heavy cable cranes or for demanding downhill yarding. It also works for ground-based skidding, e.g. with skidders.
