Big Bags für die Ruhr

In order to do repair work in the river Ruhr (river in the West of Germany) it was necessary to reduce the water pressure from the valve. Filled Big Bags were chosen to do the job. Obviously, manual detaching of the load would have been an extermely difficult and dangerous task. Therefore our remote controlled hooks came into play. They allow the operator to release the big bags from safe distance, without any manual intervention. Usually we would do this with our Ludwig Hooks. But in this particular case, the client wasn't sure whether he could fully release the tension from the hook before releasing it. Therefore we opted for the Ludwig Bulli as it allows to release the load even when there is still tension in the hook.
